Freysigner will oversee the AH Alexandria office while managing new client PMIWDC

ALEXANDRIA, VA – June 18, 2019 – AH, a professional services firm specializing in providing a full range of association management services, is pleased to welcome Carol Freysinger as Managing Director of its Alexandria, VA office and Executive Director of AH’s newest full-service client partner, Project Management Institute Washington, D.C. Chapter (PMIWDC). In her new role, Carol will oversee the AH Alexandria office while managing the growth of the PMIWDC organization.CF headshot 0817-3

Her background as an experienced association executive will lend itself to the growth and innovation of our Alexandria office and the growth and innovation of PMIWDC,” said Bob Waller, Jr., CAE, President and CEO of AH. “I am confident that Carol will be a great fit in providing valuable leadership to PMIWDC and move their organization forward, strategically.”

PMIWDC is the Washington D.C. chapter of the Project Management Institute, a national association. The chapter was chartered in 1978 as the eighth chapter of PMI and became a Virginia corporation in 2000 with the official name of Project Management Institute Washington, D. C. Chapter, Inc. (PMIWDC). With 11,000 members, this chapter of PMI is the largest in the nation.

AH is partnering with PMIWDC on a full service management basis which includes web and IT services, marketing and communications, accounting and financial services, strategic direction, meeting management, and growing membership and non-dues revenue.

“I am thrilled to join AH in the Alexandria Office and lead PMIWDC in this new chapter,” said Carol. As a volunteer herself, Carol serves on the Board for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, VA as well as the Governance and Ethics Committee. “Volunteering is something that I am passionate about and working with volunteer boards in my career brings my passion and profession together.”
